Danny joined the ranks of the future warriors last night, passing from Clever Little Monkeys into the Agoge.

Over the past few months, Danny has really matured into a great athlete and student. Knowing he’d be going from the biggest and strongest in his class to one of the smallest, he began to train his technique over his size, and listened to his coaches more attentively.

For his grading, Danny was pitted against 8 other children in clinch work, ground escapes and competitive matches. Even heavily outweighed, Danny displayed the type of forward, constant, technical pressure we like to see in all our athletes.
