Emmanuel Fernandez showed me this technique for completing the armbar, and in my opinion there’s no better way of finishing it. It offers the security of the mount position, a technical way to overcome brute strength, and if you do fail, you can quite easily stay on top.

Sprawl & Brawl (also known as Sharkbait) is quite possibly the hardest drill in all of MMA. One guy stands in the middle of the mats and looks to take down his opponent. His opponent can strike, whereas he can only grapple.

From the Arm Drag Takedown, instead of stepping behind your opponent, you step in front of him, turning your butt towards him.
