Huge congratulations to Croke for winning his fight yesterday in Galway at Tribal Warfare!

Going down, Kevin was nervous enough, just wanting to get in there and do it. Once he started warming up with shadow boxing it all disappeared as his movements were looking tight and precise – no jitters and I kept losing underhooks against him.

Ronan came in and threw a nice leg kick and a hand combo on Kev, who decided enough and went for the shoot in his patented make-life-hard-for-himself single leg style. Ronan surprised us with several submission attempts but Kev doggedly defended then, passed, mount, and rained down punches until Ronan gave his back and he got the choke.

Kevin’s going traveling for a year and a bit so I’ll take this opportunity to thank him – it’s been a pleasure to be your coach and a friend and I wish you all the best on your travels.
