Big congratz to the guys who picked up their new belts this week. Colm went for his yellow, The Pitbull his purple and Big Sean & Joey got their blues.
Colm’s natural technical ability is matched only by his sarcastic dry wit. A great addition to the club, let’s hope he sticks at the sport because he’s a very promising future.
Big Sean came from Owen Roddy’s Rathfarnham class, and has adapted well to the Spartan way of life. He’s really helped out with the Monkeys, able to help them along developing more technical jiu jitsu.
The Pitbull is known for his dogged attitude on the mats. He just keeps going, 100% effort everytime he trains. He works hard on his fitness and his skill level, which makes him a pleasure to coach.

Joey just loves his headlock throws!!! But when forced to, he has the skill in the clinch as well. Of course, Joey being camera shy, we don’t have any videos of him in action. Needless to say, he did well!
