Matt & Rob “Kittensoft” take to Galway tonight to take part in Tribal Warfare 3.
Matthew:
James Heelan is the latest to emerge from Ger Healy’s school for Ninja’s: Ger has a habit of training fighters in secret, allowing promoters to make matches with these folk nobody has heard of, then they unleash their potential on the wider world. James looks to be up there with Alan Hanon and Paul Aylemer in that regard and hopes to make the same terrific splash his team mates have done.
Intent on denying Sean’s ascension into the Limerick Combat Sports Academy Ninja Brotherhood, Matthew Boyle comes to Galway representing another ancient revered race – The Spartans. Since entering competitive grappling Matthew has begun eking out his legacy in earnest taking Gold in the National Submission Championships. His determination and fight-to-win style make him a riddle for any opponent on the ground and he intends on having his hand raised in his MMA debut.
Rob:
Tribal Warfare “Redemption” saw Rob Freeman take a match on very short notice that wound up bringing the house down. Rob is one of the brightest young stars to come out of the Spartan MMA camp and returns to Galway to add to his excellent debut.
This time Freeman takes on Kilkenny Top Pro’s Myles Price. Price has a Kickboxing record as long as your arm and his stand up abilities have been well documented. Stepping into the MMA cage will be a welcome challenge to the Kilkenny man as he attempts to establish a new legacy in Ultimatye Fighting.
There’ll be no adult MMA class today. Anyone who wants to travel down to support their club mates, we’ll be meeting at the club at 12 today.
